The Polana variety is a mid-early F1 hybrid with a vegetation period of about 130 days. The bulbs have a broadly elliptical or cubic shape and are covered with tightly adhering dry scales of medium thickness in a brown-yellow color.
The plant possesses increased tolerance to adverse weather conditions and resistance to mechanical damage due to the density of the bulbs and their skin. The harvest is intended for long-term storage, industrial processing, and fresh consumption.
