The variety belongs to the short-day group, requiring an 11–12 hour photoperiod for bulb formation. In trials, the variety demonstrated a yield of over 80 t/ha with an average bulb weight of about 142 g. The bulbs are distinguished by a high concentration of anthocyanins, amounting to up to 219 mg per 100 g of dry matter.

The plant exhibits relative bulb heterogeneity and a tendency toward premature bolting, reaching 18.67%. The variety is used in breeding programs, in particular for studying color inheritance and obtaining doubled haploids.
