The Santero F1 hybrid is characterized by a perfectly round bulb shape with golden-copper scales and a thin neck, which ensures high-quality ripening. The variety is resistant to stress weather factors, cracking, and is suitable for both manual and mechanized harvesting.

The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew, which is achieved through the use of genetic material from the wild species Allium roylei. The hybrid is distinguished by good keeping quality and is intended for long-term storage.
