The Scherpa F1 hybrid is included in national variety lists and recorded in agronomic studies as a yellow onion variety. A detailed description of morphological traits, including plant height or disease resistance, is absent in open publications.

In scientific articles, the hybrid was used as a reference sample when conducting comparative biochemical analyses. Within the framework of these studies, metrics for vitamin C content, polyphenols, and antioxidant activity of the bulbs were measured.
