The leaves are dark green and covered with a waxy bloom. The outer scales of the bulbs are silvery-white, and the inner ones are succulent and white. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary use, and whole-bulb canning, and is suitable for short-term storage of 3–4 months.
Cultivation is recommended via direct seeding in open field or by the cell-tray seedling method in all regions.
