The variety is traditional, also known by the names Zittauer gelbe, Giant Zittau, and Žitavská obrovská. The period from emergence to maturity is 130 days or more. The shape of the bulbs varies from high-round to slightly flattened; bulbs are dense with thin scales.
The average bulb weight is 60–80 g with a diameter of 7–9 cm. Yield can reach 360 c/ha. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and long-term winter storage, suitable for cultivation in open field conditions and in home gardens.
