The Coolidge F1 variety was used in a number of genetic studies to examine the composition of antioxidants, phenolic compounds, ascorbic acid, as well as compounds responsible for taste and aroma, such as isoalliin and methiin. In one scientific analysis, a high content of isoalliin was recorded in its green leaves.
In patent documentation, this hybrid appears in lists of breeding objects relating to the creation of male sterile lines of leeks. Specific agronomic descriptions of the variety, such as yield indicators, disease resistance, or maturity periods, are absent in open publications.
