The plant belongs to open-pollinated summer varieties developed using biodynamic selection methods. It forms narrow stems 25–30 cm long with medium-green leaves. The absence of thickening at the root collar simplifies cleaning of the produce.
The variety is fast-growing and resistant to bolting. It is intended for harvesting in summer and early autumn and is suitable for early cultivation under covers. To obtain a long blanched stem portion, hilling of the plants during growth is recommended.
