The hybrid is characterized by good plant uniformity. The stem ("shank") is relatively short in length and may be less dense compared to other varieties. Plants have the ability to maintain marketable quality for a long period while in the field.
The variety has resistance to bolting. Intermediate resistance to a complex of diseases has been recorded, including Puccinia rust species, purple blotch (Alternaria porri), Phytophthora rot (Phytophthora porri), as well as to thrips damage.
