The variety is mid-season, the period from full germination to technical maturity takes from 150 to 200 days. The plant is tall, with semi-erect blue-green leaves covered with a waxy bloom. The bulb is weakly developed.
The blanched part of the stem reaches a length of 12–26 cm with a diameter of up to 5 cm. The weight of a marketable plant is 200–250 g, the taste is semi-pungent. The variety possesses frost resistance and tolerates temperature drops down to -10°C.
The produce is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and drying. The variety is characterized by good keeping quality when stored in an upright position in sand.
