The plant forms long, dark blue-green, upright leaves. The length of the edible part (white stem) is 20–25 cm. The root zone is poorly defined, practically not narrowed.
The variety is intended for autumn harvesting, overwintering, and gradual harvesting up until spring. It is capable of withstanding temperature drops down to -15 °C. Suitable for cultivation in open field and greenhouses.
Direct sowing in the ground is possible in March–April or via the seedling method from April to June. The recommended seeding rate is 250–270 thousand seeds per 1 ha.
