The variety is open-pollinated and is classified as a variant adapted for cultivation under specific conditions. The plant forms fairly narrow, upright, blue-green leaves and a blanched stem part about 30 cm long.
The harvest period is extended from August to November or December. In the course of breeding work, the variety was investigated for resistance to onion thrips (Thrips tabaci).
