The variety is a local landrace from the village of Dolní Němčí. The plant forms leaves ranging from upright to semi-upright in shape, colored light green or medium green with medium intensity of waxy bloom.

Bulbs are of medium size, elliptic in cross-section, containing from 8 to 15 cloves. Dry scales have a brown color with low intensity anthocyanin stripes; clove flesh is yellowish. The variety is intended for spring planting, but autumn planting is also acceptable; it stores for up to 12 months.
