The variety is winter-hardy and matures two weeks earlier than spring varieties; harvesting is carried out in June–July. The bulbs have a rounded flattened shape. They contain from 5 to 12 cloves. The color of the scales is grayish-white, sometimes with a lilac tint.
The plant is adapted to the Hungarian climate and is resistant to winter frosts. The flesh of the bulbs has a loose structure. Keeping quality is assessed as medium or low, while the variety is suitable for storage for 6–8 months, but it is preferred for use in fresh form.
