The variety belongs to winter types, intended for planting in the autumn period from September to November. Harvesting is carried out early, in May or June. A feature of the variety is the status of regenerated material, free from onion yellow dwarf virus, as well as a short duration of the dormancy period.

The bulbs have a rounded shape, each containing from 10 to 15 brown cloves. The appearance of the bulb can vary from purple to white with purple stripes. The produce has a pungent taste and good keeping quality; the variety is oriented toward professional cultivation for fresh market sale.
