Marlau F1 is a medium-large-tubular chive with uniform plant development. The leaves of the variety have an upright or semi-upright shape.

The plant possesses high resistance to the pathogen Puccinia allii, which causes rust. The variety is intended for cultivation both for sale on the fresh market and for industrial processing.
