The plant forms narrow, tubular, emerald-green leaves that are notable for their durability and resistance to damage during transport. The variety is suitable for year-round greens production in open field, greenhouses, and in containers on windowsills.

Suitable for forcing, which takes 22–30 days. The crop is cold-hardy and honey-bearing, blooming with pink-lilac flowers. When grown in one place for more than three years, dividing the clump is recommended to prevent leaves from becoming smaller and yields from decreasing.
