The plant is perennial, forms long, dark green tubular leaves that are distinguished by relatively high thickness. The variety possesses a pronounced sharp onion flavor and an increased vitamin C content.

The vegetation period until the first harvest in the open field is about 120 days, and for forcing, it is reduced to 25–30 days. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness and the ability to regrow quickly after cutting.

The variety is suitable for cultivation in sunny areas with light, fertile soils. Due to the strength of the foliage, it is considered one of the best varieties for container cultivation and winter forcing at home.
