The plant forms strap-shaped leaves, which may have pubescence along the edges. The flower stalks reach a height of 20–30 cm; the flowering period occurs in late spring and early summer, including June and July.

The variety is intended for ornamental use in flower beds, borders, rock gardens, and container gardening. The plant possesses drought tolerance after rooting, is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 4–9, and attracts pollinators. The variety is not intended for human consumption.
