The variety FLHORAN41, also known as «282» or «Scarlett», was obtained as a result of crossing the Smooth Cayenne and Manzana varieties. The fruits have a cylindrical shape, their weight ranges from 1.4 to 2.0 kg, and the crown is small and upright.

During ripening, the fruit skin color changes from orange to bright red or scarlet, which depends on the intensity of sunlight and temperature. The golden-yellow flesh contains fewer fibers than the Smooth Cayenne variety, while the concentration of carotenoids is 2.5 times higher, and anthocyanins in the skin are 1.5 times higher.

The taste qualities are determined by high titratable acidity and soluble solids content. During the fruit ripening process, the concentration of aromatic compounds, primarily esters and terpene hydrocarbons, increases.
