The color of the young leaves of the variety is its distinctive feature and varies from a grayish-purple to an almost black shade. The leaves have a strong texture; they are thick, leathery, and have a glossy surface. The plant itself forms a symmetrical habit.

The variety belongs to fast-growing crops and, when propagated by tissue culture, reaches marketable size in 14 months. The plant demonstrates stability and uniformity of characteristics during cloning and is also distinguished by vigorous development of the root system.
