Variety description

The Leny variety and its derivatives belong to the Anthurium andraeanum group. "Lucky Leny" is a mutant derived from the "Leny" variety, while "Sweet Leny" is a separate variant within this group. The plants have dark green heart-shaped leaves with a pointed tip and a glossy surface.

The flowers of "Leny" have a deep red hue. The inflorescences of "Sweet Leny" are pink, the size of their spathe is 7–7.5 cm, and the plant height reaches 30–40 cm. The varieties are compact and bushy, suitable for cultivation as indoor ornamental flowering plants.

For growing the series varieties, bright diffused light with an illumination of 9 000 to 12 000 lux and well-drained soil are recommended. The optimal temperature range for normal development is 18 to 24°C.
