The plant forms a significant number of leaves, which are attached to the root vegetable in a rather narrow zone. The root vegetables are medium-sized, and the shape varies from round to round-trapezoidal. The surface of the root vegetable is quite smooth; it sits relatively deep in the soil during growth.
The flesh of the root vegetable is white with a dense consistency. The variety shows a tendency to form hollows inside (internal sponginess) and susceptibility to flesh blackening. The variety is similar in type to the Roem van Zwijndrecht group.
The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to celery mosaic virus, which creates risks when grown in certain regions.
