The plant reaches a height of 40–60 cm with a width of 20–30 cm and possesses strong vertical foliage. The resulting medium-sized root vegetables are covered with a smooth skin of a dark shade. Analyses of the juice composition show a Brix value of 10.25, which is due to the content of glucose, fructose, and sucrose.
The variety has resistance to Septoria blight (Septoria apiicola). The plant is sensitive to frost, prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations, as well as loose soils rich in humus and nutrients. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption and storage.
