The plant is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy leaves having wavy margins. The main feature of the variety is its salmon-pink fruit, which can remain on the branches for up to a year. In early summer, the shrub produces small fragrant white flowers.
Ardisia is characterized by slow growth and a more compact, leafy form compared to traditional species. The plant is thermophilic, requires maintenance temperatures not lower than 10°C, and is sensitive to frost.
