The variety belongs to a group of French breeding achievements distinguished by a dwarf growth type with short internodes. Plants form a compact bush with low branching, while the shoot tips have a purple tint. The variety is dioecious, possessing both male and female flowers.

The plant possesses resistance to lodging due to its compact structure; however, it exhibits susceptibility to diseases caused by the fungus Stemphylium, which leads to leaf drop. The variety is considered low-yielding and is not optimally suited for green asparagus production, although it is permissible for use within the framework of certain protected geographical indications.
