The plant is a perennial herbaceous crop and belongs to dioecious varieties. The stems are characterized by an upright form, high density, and sweet taste. When harvested at a young age, the tips of the spears may acquire a purple tint.
Harvesting of this variety is carried out from the second half of spring to the beginning of summer. The plant requires an adaptation period and enters the full fruiting phase approximately three years after planting.
