Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is classified as mid-early and is distinguished by the formation of spears with a tight, "very closed" head. The average weight of a single spear is about 43 g, with the variety capable of producing large-caliber yield, where the proportion of spears with a diameter of more than 22 mm reaches 22%. The plant possesses high vegetative activity.

In scientific literature, the variety is considered in the context of research on asparagus decline syndrome. It has been revealed that Plasenesp exhibits reduced susceptibility to Fusarium solani compared to a number of other varieties, demonstrating a lower frequency of symptomatic plants during Fusarium infection.
