The Tardivo d'Argenteuil variety is a variation of the historical Argenteuil type, known since the 19th century. The plant is characterized by a late maturity group and reaches a height of 150–160 cm.
The spears are distinguished by high head density and a delicate taste. The variety is frost-hardy and requires fertile, light, well-drained soils for cultivation, with the first full harvest formed in the 2–3rd year after sowing.
