Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is intended primarily for growing green asparagus. Its feature is the absence of anthocyanins, due to which the spears do not have a purple color. The plant is of a hybrid type, forming a vigorous bushy plant 1–1.5 meters high and about 20–30 cm wide with characteristic needle-like leaves.

The harvesting period for young spears lasts from mid-April to the end of June. The variety is winter-hardy, prefers sunny areas with loose and nutrient-rich sandy soil. The plant has a moderate water requirement and pronounced taste qualities.

During agronomic research, the variety was analyzed for susceptibility to fungal diseases, in particular to species of the genus Fusarium, while noting the importance of crop rotation for disease prevention.
