The variety forms dark purple spears with tightly compressed rounded heads. The flesh of the spears has a mild sweet taste, with a sugar content approximately 20% higher than that of green varieties. Given that the purple color may dull or turn green when boiled, the product is recommended for use in fresh form.

The plant is a perennial hybrid suitable for cultivation in regions with cool to moderately warm climates. The variety begins yielding earlier than many other varieties, and the timing of spear emergence allows it to avoid the impact of early spring frosts. To obtain spears of optimal size, dense planting with an interval of 15–20 cm in the row is recommended.
