Variety description

The Suntop variety is a perennial crop specialized for commercial cut flowers. The plants have purple-blue inflorescences and are hybrids similar in purpose to Aster ericoides.

The plants are better adapted to greenhouse conditions than to open field cultivation. The variety is classified as mid-season, while exhibiting susceptibility to a number of diseases under industrial growing conditions.
