The variety Sunsol is a perennial decorative plant of the genus Aster, belonging to the species heath aster (Symphyotrichum ericoides). In professional floriculture, the variety is used as a potted crop, as well as a filler for bouquets when cut.

Externally, the plant is characterized by inflorescences in the form of heads, which have the appearance of a daisy and often possess a double structure.
