Variety description

The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant with a height of 40 to 80 cm. It has decorative deep green foliage with serrated edges and dense upright panicles. The flowers are light pink; by October, they may acquire a greenish hue.
The flowering period occurs in July–August. The plant is characterized by hardiness, frost resistance (zone Z5), and the ability to tolerate sunnier locations than many other Astilbe varieties. The breeding involved the crossing of Astilbe x arendsii and Astilbe «Weisse Gloria».
Used for solitary and group plantings, borders and mixed borders, as well as for cultivation in containers and for cutting.
