Variety description

The plant is a compact herbaceous perennial 30 to 75 cm tall, most commonly 45–60 cm. The foliage is dark green with a bronze tint, glossy, and has a fine texture. The dense, feathery, cone-shaped inflorescences are cream-white in color and have a distinct fragrance.
The variety is mid-late, with flowering occurring from July to August. The plant is reliable and hardy, more tolerant to sunlight and short-term lack of moisture than other Astilbe species, although it prefers moist, nutrient-rich soils and partial shade. The flowers are suitable for cutting, and the dried inflorescences retain their ornamental value.
It is used in landscape design for creating monoculture groups, mixed borders, rock gardens, pond edges, as well as for container gardening.
