Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Astilbe arendsii and Astilbe japonica. The plant forms a dense bush 30 to 50 cm in height with lacy, dark green, dissected foliage and dense rhombic or paniculate inflorescences of a deep pink color.
Flowering begins in late spring or early summer, which is two weeks earlier than many standard Astilbe varieties. The plant possesses increased resistance to diseases, heat, and drought conditions, and is not damaged by deer or rabbits.
The variety is suitable for use in border plantings, container cultivation, and as a floral crop for cutting.
