Plants of the Vision series are compact bushes 30 to 70 cm in height. They feature lacy foliage, often with a bronze-green hue, and dense rhombic-shaped paniculate inflorescences in red, purple, pink, or white shades.
Flowering of these varieties usually occurs in July–August, sometimes continuing into September. The series is characterized by good winter hardiness (USDA zone 4) and increased tolerance to adverse conditions, including exposure to sunlight, compared to other Astilbe species.
