The variety is a naked oat form obtained by the pedigree breeding method as a result of crossing lines KR-88-8110 and KR 4057. The average plant height is about 104 cm. In terms of maturity, the variety is classified as early-maturing.
The plants demonstrate high resistance to lodging, as well as resistance to powdery mildew, stem rust, crown rust, and leaf spot. The test weight is about 61.9 kg/hl, thousand kernel weight is approximately 26 g.
The grain is characterized by a high fat content of about 5.7% with a favorable composition of unsaturated fatty acids, and an increased content of protein and β-glucans compared to husked oat varieties.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
