The variety is a hulled oat with yellow grain and a short stem, providing high lodging resistance. It is distinguished by high values of thousand kernel weight, test weight, and plump grain yield, with a β-glucan content in the grain of about 36.4 g/kg.
The variety possesses good disease resistance. In studies examining the influence of heavy metals, the variety was classified as having lower tolerance to arsenic exposure. Genetically, the variety is close to the variety «Kanton».
