The variety belongs to the early-maturing group, with a vegetation period of approximately 63 days. It is intended for grain use and is frequently applied as a control sample when conducting comparative trials.
During research, the variety was found to be susceptible to crown rust (Puccinia coronata) and leaf spot (Pyrenophora avenae). The use of fungicides under moderate infection levels allows for the control of leaf spot spread.
