Variety description

10 August 2026

The Cadence variety is used as a cover crop (green manure), as well as for hay production, grazing, and creating forage mixtures. The plant has a high tillering capacity and develops dense foliage, which contributes to effective biomass formation and soil protection.

The variety is characterized as late-maturing and is suitable for spring and autumn sowing. It is distinguished by low winter hardiness, due to which it dies from frosts when sown in autumn, facilitating subsequent soil tillage. The variety demonstrates high levels of leaf health.
