The EC-BEGO-1901 variety is an ornamental-foliage plant intended for cultivation indoors or in gardens in a suitable climate. The plant belongs to the rhizomatous begonia group and is distinguished by a slow growth rate.
The main feature of the variety is the unique pattern on the leaves: a bright green leaf blade with a characteristic brown "iron cross" along the veins and an expressive brown border. The upper surface of the leaf has a pronounced crinkled texture.
The plant is potentially susceptible to problems typical for the species: leaf spot, gray mold, powdery mildew, and root rots in case of excessive watering.
