The upper surface of the leaf has a dark yellow-green color. The foliage is large, characterized by pronounced rugosity and the presence of pubescence on the upper side of the leaf. The petioles of the plant are long and thick.
The male flowers of the cultivar have 4 petals. The variety is an independent breeding form with distinctive botanical traits that allow it to be identified in comparison with other Begonia masoniana varieties.
