The leaves of the variety have an unusual shape characterized as a "double shell". The leaf surface is emerald green and covered with silvery spots that take on a pinkish tint at the base. A wide wavy margin of dark chocolate color runs along the edges.

The plant has elongated internodes. To form a compact bush, the variety requires a sufficient amount of diffused lighting. It is used exclusively as an ornamental foliage houseplant.
