The variety belongs to the polyploid multigerm sugar beet types. The sucrose content in the root crops is 14–16%. Yields during trials varied within the range of 56–62 centners per acre.
The variety was historically developed as part of the Maribo breeding program. Under modern conditions, the hybrid is considered obsolete and is not included in current commercial catalogs for industrial seed production.
