The variety is intended for use in agricultural production for sugar extraction. In the documentation, the variety is also referred to by the names Mezano poly and Mezano A. O. poly.

The results of using the variety were recorded during experiments to study the influence of sowing dates, micronutrient application, and irrigation regimes on sugar content and juice purity indicators.
