The sugar beet variety Monoire was used in scientific trials as a model object for studying germination, the impact of soil compaction on plant development, and the tendency for bolting. In production tests of the 1980s, it demonstrated high productivity among the studied samples.
One of the distinctive features of the variety was the lowest level of downy mildew infection among the tested samples. In modern catalogs, the variety is not represented as commercially available or widely used in industrial production.
