The plant possesses tolerance to viral diseases causing yellows but is characterized by high susceptibility to downy mildew. Field trials in the 1970s confirmed the variety's resistance to high doses of the herbicide metamitron. In the absence of diseases, the variety yielded less than control samples in terms of total yield.
