The variety belongs to a group of old breeding forms. It is included in genetic resource collections and has been widely used in programs for developing new varieties, as well as for studying qualitative characteristics, such as dry matter and glucosinolate content.

During studies, the variety demonstrated dry matter yields comparable to the best commercial samples. Plant development, including the flowering phase, depends on growing conditions, in particular on day length and temperature.
