Brentano is a mid-season hybrid of Brassica napus L. Plants reach a height of 160–165 cm; pod length is 6–7 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high plasticity to various sowing dates and soil types.

The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and Phoma. It is distinguished by increased winter hardiness and the ability for rapid resumption of spring vegetation.

The seeds of the hybrid contain a large amount of oil with a very low glucosinolate content. The yield potential is 45–55 c/ha; the hybrid is intended for traditional cultivation technology.
